The train Passenger Information System (PIS) is a passive system of RW Enhancer 2. It try to reproduce the trains PIS present in real world. This system is meant to work on every routes and no scenario edit is required.
The PIS system is running automatically if three conditions are met:
- You have started a service by using RW Enhancer 2 'Drive' menu.
- PIS is enabled in your settings.
- You are doing a passenger service.
Supported Languages & Auto Language Detection
3 languages are currently supported by the PIS system:
- English
- German
- French
More languages support will be added in futures updates.
The PIS system is also capable of selecting the proper language based on where you are in the virtual world of Train Simulator. If you are driving in Germany, then the PIS system will speak in German. If you are driving in France then the spoken language will be French. Everything is automatic and you have nothing to do RW Enhancer 2 is doing everything for you.
The PIS system can also handle different English accents if you are using Azure speech engine instead of the SAPI engine. For example, if you are driving in United Kingdom then a British accent will be then used.
